Ford Wants to Protect Your Christmas Tree: Here’s How

It’s nearly Christmas once again and whether you celebrate the holiday or not, we think you’ll get a kick out of this list of do’s and don’ts for tree transportation from Ford:

The history of the Christmas tree is really pretty interesting. Did you know, for instance, that trees in the 1800s and even early 1900s were lit with real candles? Beautiful, but a fire hazard for sure. Before that time, the Christmas tree, which originated in Germany, was decorated mostly with cookies, nuts and homemade ornaments.

Here at Pat Milliken Ford we hope you’ll enjoy a wonderful holiday season and that however you celebrate it, you’ll make many happy memories.

We’d love to share in your December festivities. Stop by our dealership in Redford, Michigan, and chat with us about some of your favorite holiday traditions or simply browse our lot and showroom. We have a great lineup of vehicles, competitive finance rates and friendly staff.
