Visit Greenfield Village

Marvin’s Marvelous Mechanical Museum

Some days, children have so much energy and really deserve a fun-filled treat that is fueled by adventure and play. Marvin’s Marvelous Mechanical Museum is a 5,000-square -foot space filled with vintage coin-operated machines, nostalgic items, special oddities, video games, and more. Kids can collect tickets and win prizes. You can also book a birthday party at Marvin’s. Marvin’s Marvelous Mechanical Museum is open every day of the week. Play at Belle Isle Conservancy

Belle Isle Conservancy is a beautiful park where kids can enjoy wonderful family-oriented activities. It’s 982 acres large and has plentiful historic, environmental, and cultural resources to offer. It features an aquarium, a conservatory, the Great Lakes Museum, the Memorial Fountain, and more.

The aquarium offers a stunning array of creatures your children can visit. The salt water is shipped from the ocean, and conservancy hosts the only known collection of seven different species of gar fish. You will also see fish from as far away as Africa and South America. If your kids are craving some fun in the sun, they can also check out Belle Isle Beach, which is open from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. Another great spot is the Belle Isle Nature Center.
