Trim Levels (Exterior)
The 2019 Ford F-350 comes in six trim levels, which are XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited. From the outside, the XL showcases 17-inch steel wheels, a locking tailgate that is removable and has a tailgate lift assist, manually telescoping side mirrors for towing, a 2.5-inch trailer hitch receiver with a 2.0-inch insert, and manual front locking hubs on four-wheel-drive models. The XLT adds four locking cleats within the bed, power-adjustable and heated side mirrors, keyless entry, and 18-inch alloy wheels. Choose the Lariat to get tubular side steps, an auto-dimming driver's side mirror, and a power-sliding rear window. The King Ranch shows off Western styling elements, LED box lighting, a set of unique alloy wheels, and automatic wipers. The Platinum model only comes with a crew cab and includes power-operated running boards, 20-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, a remote tailgate release with a built-in step, adaptive steering, and automatic windshield wipers. At the top of the line is the Limited, which has a panoramic sunroof.
Engine (Power)
The standard engine is a 6.2-liter gas-powered V-8 that generates 430 pound-feet of torque and 385 horsepower. A more powerful engine is available as an upgrade. This 6.7-liter turbocharged diesel-powered engine produces 935 pound-feet of torque and 450 horsepower, making it the clear choice if you plan to do a lot of heavy hauling and towing with your truck. Both engines work with a six-speed automatic transmission.
Performance
The F-350 comes standard with rear-wheel drive, although you can upgrade any of the trims to include four-wheel drive. Rear-wheel drive is better for towing, as is the diesel engine. When properly equipped with those aspects, along with the heavy-duty trailer tow package, your truck will be able to conventionally tow up to 21,000 pounds and carry up to 7,630 pounds. With the gooseneck towing package, the truck's towing capacities go up to 27,500 pounds for a fifth-wheel and 34,000 pounds for a gooseneck trailer.
Interior
The XL comes with a four-speaker audio system, vinyl upholstery, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, and a driver information display screen. With the XLT comes rear privacy glass, power locks and windows, the Sync infotainment system, and cloth upholstery. Dual-zone automatic climate control, an upgraded Bang & Olufsen sound system, power-adjustable front seats, an 8-inch touch screen with Ford's Sync 3 infotainment system, leather upholstery, and two household-style power outlets all come standard with the Lariat trim. With the King Ranch trim, you'll get navigation, heated and ventilated front seats, more luxurious leather upholstery, a power-adjustable steering wheel, and driver's seat memory settings. The Platinum trim level has contoured front seats for improved comfort, while the Limited comes with upscale two-tone leather upholstery.
Safety Features
Standard safety features on all Super Duty trucks include traction and stability control, a rearview camera, plenty of advanced air bags, and anti-lock brakes. Available features include blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and a trailer-mounted rearview camera.
