It'll be pretty easy to get yourself in some trouble with Ford's new 2020 Mustang. After you review the specifications below, you'll see that this is the most powerful Mustang created by Ford to date. With tons of advanced safety features, you'll be well protected as you tear up the streets.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
The 2020 Ford Mustang with three distinct trim levels, each with their own variations, to give you exactly what you're craving. The Fastback comes with dual chrome tip exhaust and a vented hood to keep up the Mustang's reputation for looking sleek. The Convertible has many of the same features as the Fastback with a convertible roof. Finally the Shelby, of course as an ode to Mr. Carroll Shelby himself and Shelby Motors that Ford acquired. It has a beautiful rear wing and on one of its options, it also has the iconic Shelby logo on the grille.
Engine (Power)
The Fastback model of the 2020 Ford Mustang is built with a reasonable 2.3-liter Ecoboost engine that can produce a fairly large amount of horsepower at 310 and 350 pound-feet of torque. The Bullitt has a much larger 5.0-liter Ti-VCT V-8 engine and much higher stats at 480 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque. The base Convertible Mustang has the same numbers as the base Fastback but the Convertible GT can produce 460 horsepower and 420 pound-feet with its own 5.0-liter Ti-VCT V-8 engine. The base Shelby model has a 5.2-liter Ti-VCT V-8 engine that puts out 526 horsepower and 429 pound-feet of torque. The most powerful is the Shelby GT500 that can produce a massive amount of power at 760 horsepower and 625 pound-feet of torque. Every model of the 2020 Ford Mustang is built for speed and power.
Performance
With the base Fastback model's Ecoboost engine it gets pretty good mileage with up to 30 miles per gallon on the highway. Even as you get sportier the Bullitt can get up to 29 miles per gallon on the highway. And the powerful Shelby still comes in at up to 21 miles per gallon on the highway. Most of the models, excluding only the Bullitt and Shelby models, have the option to have manual or automatic transmission. The Bullitt and Shelby only offer a manual transmission to help it perform better on the track.
Interior
The interiors of these vehicles offer plenty of room as they all have four seats in them except the Shelby 350GTR which has only the two front seats. They are also either come standard with leather seats and steering wheel or have the option to be leather. The Bullitt has its own special detailing on the inside with dark green stitching on the seats. They have great sound too, with the optional Bang and Olufsen 12 speaker and trunk subwoofer sound system.
Safety Features
These cars are also plenty safe as they have front, side and knee airbags as well as three-point seatbelts. They also have plenty of anti-theft solutions including SecuriLock Passive Anti-Theft System and remoteless key entry. There's also a perimeter alarm to keep you from bumping into anybody when parking.
