In honor of Valentine’s Day, come to the Detroit Institute of Arts on Feb. 16 and 17 for an artist demonstration with Detroit multimedia artist Donald Calloway. Calloway’s colorful works of art are always filled with expression, mystery, and emotion. During this special presentation, he’ll display some of his various pieces and help you and your Valentine create art of your own using a heart motif and found objects.

Valentine’s Day is all about sweetness. Come to The Craft Cafe Detroit for a fun cupcake decorating party on Feb. 10. During this exciting event, you’ll learn how to work with fondant and discover different buttercream piping techniques. You’ll then be able to decorate four of your own cupcakes.
