2019 Ford Mustang

The 2019 Ford Mustang is available in five trim levels: EcoBoost, EcoBoost Premium, GT, GT Premium, and the newly added BULLITT. Adding the BULLITT marks a return to the Mustang of the past, as this special edition was originally available in 1968. Exterior features on the EcoBoost trim level include 17-inch aluminum wheels, a dual bright exhaust with rolled, polished tips, LED signature headlights and taillights, hood vents, and integrated blind spot mirrors in the exterior side mirrors. The EcoBoost Premium adds LED fog lights, 18-inch aluminum wheels, a blade decklid spoiler, heated side mirrors, and pony projection lights. Choose the GT or GT Premium models to get a dual exhaust with quad tips. The new BULLITT has its own set of 19-inch glossy black aluminum wheels, unique front and lower grilles, specialty badges, and a rear diffuser.

The 2019 Mustang EcoBoost and EcoBoost trim levels are powered by a 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that rates at 350 pound-feet of torque and 310 horsepower. A six-speed manual transmission is standard with that unit, while a 10-speed automatic is available as an option. The GT comes with a more powerful 5.0-liter V-8 engine that pumps out 420 pound-feet of torque and 460 horsepower. This engine works with an upgraded six-speed manual, although the automatic is available as well. With the BULLITT, you get the same powerful V-8 engine.

This sports car has rear-wheel drive, delivering better handling whether you're on the road or heading around the race track. With the base 2.3-liter engine, the EPA fuel economy estimates come in at 21 mpg in the city, 32 mpg on the highway, and 25 mpg combined. The V-8 engine is slightly less efficient, with ratings of 15 mpg in the city, 25 mpg on the highway, and 18 mpg combined. If you opt for the automatic transmission, those estimates will increase by 1 mpg apiece.

Within the cabin of the 2019 Mustang, you'll find standard features like an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a leather-wrapped tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel with integrated audio controls, Ford's MyKey system, two USB charging ports, a six-speaker audio system with Ford's Sync infotainment system, manually adjustable front seats, and cloth upholstery. The EcoBoost Premium adds leather-trimmed upholstery, the more advanced Sync 3 infotainment system, satellite radio, a nine-speaker audio system with an amplifier, a universal garage door opener, and premium door trim. It also has heated, cooled, and power-adjustable front seats, With the GT comes the addition of Track Apps to monitor your driving, while the GT Premium boasts dual-zone automatic climate control, a heated steering wheel, aluminum pedals, ambient interior lighting, illuminated door plates, and premium trim elements. The BULLITT's cabin is equipped similarly to the GT Premium, but it also has unique interior styling accents that help it stand out.

A rearview camera, anti-lock brakes, plenty of air bags, and stability and traction control all come standard on the 2019 Mustang. You can also get a reverse sensing system, adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, and forward collision warning with automatic braking.
