Trim Levels (Exterior)
The 2022 Ford Escape comes available in 10 trim levels: S, SE, SE Hybrid, SE Plug-In Hybrid, SEL, SEL Hybrid, SEL Plug-In Hybrid, Titanium, Titanium Hybrid, and Titanium Plug-In Hybrid. On each trim level, you can enjoy dual chrome exhaust tips and black molded-in-color lower body side cladding. Each level, except for the S, has a second-row side and liftgate privacy glass on the windows. As an add-on package or standard feature for black roof rack side rails, you can choose the SE, SE Hybrid, SEL, SEL Hybrid, SEL Plug-In Hybrid, Titanium, Titanium Hybrid, and Titanium Plug-In Hybrid.
Engine (Power)
Underneath each trim level's hood, you'll encounter something a little different. Each of the Hybrid editions has a Hybrid 2.5-liter iVCT Atkinson-Cycle I-4 engine. The Plug-In hybrids have a Plug-in Hybrid 2.5-liter iVCT Atkinson-Cycle I-4 engine. As for the S and the SE, there is a 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine under the hood with an eight-speed automatic transmission. For the drive train, all trim levels except for the Titanium have front-wheel drive to help you earn better gas mileage. The Titanium's drivetrain has All-Wheel Drive with AWD Disconnect, which is an add-on option for the SEL and SEL Hybrid.
Performance
Ford built this 2022 Escape to perform at its best for you. All the trim levels, except for the S, have intelligent adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, lane centering, and speed sign recognition as a standard or add-on feature. The SEL, SEL Hybrid, SEL Plug-In Hybrid, Titanium, Titanium Hybrid, and Titanium Plug-In Hybrid have rear parking sensors. With advanced technology, you can experience curve control in all trim levels. If you want a block heater, all the trim levels have it as an option.
Interior
Inside the vehicle in all trim levels, you'll find Ford Co-Pilot360 technology. This system has pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, forward collision warning, dynamic brake support, the lane-keeping system with lane-keeping assist, lane-keeping alert, and driver alert, blind spot information system with cross-traffic alert, and automatic on/off headlamps with courtesy delay. Active Park Assist 2.0 and its many features are available optionally for the Titanium, Titanium Hybrid, and Titanium Hybrid Plug-In.

Safety Features
When it comes to safety features, the 2022 Ford Escape has you and your passengers covered. All trim levels come with safety technology like the SOS Post-Crash Alert System and MyKey. For the air bags, there is the Personal Safety System with dual-stage driver and front-passenger air bags, driver knee air bag, front seat-mounted side-impact air bags, and the Safety Canopy System. In case of spare tire emergencies, all the levels offer a tire inflator and sealant kit and a tire pressure monitoring system. The Escape S has a remote keyless entry system including a key with an integrated key FOB.
