The headlights and taillights will be redesigned to appear sharper and more sculpted and dual exhaust tips are featured on the exterior. The hatch will be longer and have a larger opening. Overall, you can expect a more efficient and aerodynamic driving experience when you take the wheel of the 2020 Ford Escape. Ford plans to offer two body styles for the 2020 model. Safety features such as pre-collision assist, active park assist, blind spot information, and evasive steering assist will be included in the 2020 Escape.

The gasoline-powered version will be powered by the 180 horsepower, 1.5-liter EcoBoost three-cylinder engine and produce 200 pound-feet of torque. The 260 horsepower, EcoBoost four-cylinder engine, capable of producing 260 pound-feet of torque, will be available in the upper trim levels. All trim levels will come standard with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Interior

The 2020 Escape's interior will be redesigned to have a more modern look and you can expect it to be roomier than in previous models. The dashboard will feature a large tablet-style infotainment screen that is more receptive, easier to see, and easier to operate than previous versions. You can expect the instrument cluster to have more digitization and fewer buttons to push than in previous Escape models. Both driver and passengers can expect to have more shoulder and leg room while riding in the new Ford Escape. Leather-upholstered six-way power seating will provide even more comfort. These are just some of the exciting new features that you can expect from the 2020 Ford Escape. Like previous versions, the 2020 model will specialize in versatility, making it the perfect SUV for running everyday errands or hitting the highway for family road trips. It will soon be available to test drive, so stay tuned. Image via pixabay.com

How to fix a flat on your Ford

Fords although incredibly reliable and helpful cars do occasionally get flats, especially if the tires are not properly maintained. That is why we have created this handy guide to help you in case of a flat on the road. more Get to a safe spot on the road When you do notice that your tire is flat don’t immediately pull over, especially If you are on the highway. You may damage your rims but you will be in a much safer position to change your tire or call for help and you will be out of traffic thereby further reducing the risk. Call for Assistance(If Available) You may know your way around a car, but even if you do, getting a tow is probably the safest option. Most spare tires are only rated for approximately 50mph for 50 miles. So if you can afford it call for help and get a tow, there is no need to risk being stuck on the side of the road trying to change a tire in the middle of nowhere if you can avoid it. How to actually change the tire If your car comes with a spare tire most likely it will come with a collapsible jack and the tools to remove and replace the tire. Usually it will also come with instructions, follow these closely. If not look for the jack point under the car and engage the emergency brake. Once you have found the jack point, and the emergency brake is engaged firmly, place the jack under that jack point and then use the crank to expand the jack and lift the car. Once the car is lifted you will use the lug key, which is an unusual attachment to the lug wrench or something similar that came with the car to remove the tire, once the tire is removed you will then lift the spare tire onto the bolts and then re attach the lug nuts and screw them on with the lug wrench turning them each a little bit in a star pattern, repeat this process until the tire is firmly attached. Then slowly crank down the jack and remove it storing the original tire and jack in your trunk.
