Antonio's Piccolo Ristorante Make sure to stop by Antonio's Piccolo Ristorante for traditional Italian dishes made the old fashioned way. The chicken Antonio is a pan-seared chicken breast smothered in white sauce that comes topped with provolone cheese. You can also get classic linguine with clams with either a red or white sauce, and the linguine Delmar with a combination of fresh shrimp, whitefish, and scallops that are all sauteed in a zesty tomato sauce. That is why we have created this handy guide to help you in case of a flat on the road. more Get to a safe spot on the road When you do notice that your tire is flat don’t immediately pull over, especially If you are on the highway. You may damage your rims but you will be in a much safer position to change your tire or call for help and you will be out of traffic thereby further reducing the risk. Call for Assistance(If Available) You may know your way around a car, but even if you do, getting a tow is probably the safest option. Most spare tires are only rated for approximately 50mph for 50 miles. So if you can afford it call for help and get a tow, there is no need to risk being stuck on the side of the road trying to change a tire in the middle of nowhere if you can avoid it. How to actually change the tire If your car comes with a spare tire most likely it will come with a collapsible jack and the tools to remove and replace the tire. Usually it will also come with instructions, follow these closely. If not look for the jack point under the car and engage the emergency brake. Once you have found the jack point, and the emergency brake is engaged firmly, place the jack under that jack point and then use the crank to expand the jack and lift the car. Once the car is lifted you will use the lug key, which is an unusual attachment to the lug wrench or something similar that came with the car to remove the tire, once the tire is removed you will then lift the spare tire onto the bolts and then re attach the lug nuts and screw them on with the lug wrench turning them each a little bit in a star pattern, repeat this process until the tire is firmly attached. Then slowly crank down the jack and remove it storing the original tire and jack in your trunk. Source only sells nonfiction books, with an emphasis on history, culture, health, well-being, metaphysics, spirituality, and books about or written by women. The shop also hosts many events, such as poetry readings, round-table discussions with local and nationally-known authors, and book clubs. In addition to books, Source Booksellers also sells Fair Trade chocolates, maps, oils, incense, Shea butter products, and snacks. You can find Source Booksellers at 4240 Cass Ave., in Suite 105. The store is open weekdays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and weekends from noon to 4 p.m. Online ordering and curbside pickup are available. John King Used and Rare Books Since opening its doors in 1965, John King has become known for its vast collection of used and rare books as well as hard-to-find ephemera. The store has over 1 million books in stock in a wide variety of subject areas. The original store, at 901 W. Lafayette Blvd., in downtown Detroit, features four jam-packed stories of books. A second, smaller store (called John King North) is at 22524 Woodward Ave., in the suburb of Ferndale. The staff at John King prides themselves on their service. They can help find anything you desire in the store or order it for delivery. If you are looking for something extra-special, check out the rare book room.  This space is home to more than 25,000 books, bindings, memorabilia, autographed items, first edition printings, lithographs, watercolors, and more. As the epicenter of the American auto industry, Detroit, Michigan, attracts visitors who want to learn more about the history of the automobile. If you're a car lover and looking for a museum to explore, make sure you stop in at one of these three museums. Detroit Historical Museum Located on Woodward Avenue in Detroit's Cultural Center, the Detroit Historical Museum chronicles and preserves the history of the last 300 years in the Detroit area. In 2012, the museum added five permanent exhibits, while its other signature exhibits received upgrades. Visit America's Motor City, which explains how Detroit became known as Motor City. It also houses the Automotive Showplace exhibit and its numerous classic cars. The museum is open Thursday through Saturday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. Admission for adults is $10, while seniors, students, active military, and first responders pay $8. If you have children, admission for them is $6, but children under the age of 6 are free. more Ford Piquette Avenue Plant As the birthplace of the Ford Model T, the Ford Piquette Avenue Plant is known as one of the most important automotive heritage sites in the world. Built in 1904, the plant sits on Piquette Avenue and the Milwaukee Junction Rail Line in Detroit. The first 12,000 Model Ts were assembled here and shipped out via train. Ford only used this site for a short time, selling the building to Studebaker in 1911. The company used the location until 1933. Over the years, the building changed hands several times, until the year 2000 when it was restored and turned into a museum. Today, you can stop into the museum Thursday through Sunday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Admission is $15 for adults; students with ID, veterans, and seniors age 65 and older are $10, children age 5 through 17 are $5, and children under the age of 5 are free. The museum offers guided tours at noon and 2 p.m. Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation Sitting on 250 acres of land on Oakwood Boulevard in Dearborn, Michigan, the Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation has several must-see attractions for any car lover. The museum itself houses the bus where Rosa Parks took a stand, a collection of world-famous cars, and several vehicles that carried political icons of the 20th century. Another part of the museum is Greenfield Village which highlights 300 years of life in America in seven historic districts. Learn how the Wright brothers took flight, and see a Model T up close and personal. Tickets for the museum vary depending on the day and your age. The museum is open daily from 9:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. However, the Greenfield Village is only open Friday through Sunday from November 2 through 29 and select nights from November 30 through December 31. It will be closed from January 1 through April 16. If you're a car lover and end up near Detroit, make sure you stop in at any of these three museums. Stony Creek Metropark Stony Creek Metropark sits on the shores of Stony Creek. It's the perfect place for an afternoon of biking, with bike rentals available if you don't have one. You can also go boating or swimming in the lake. This park also has some of the best hiking trails in the Metro Detroit area with trails that run through lush woodlands, wetlands, and parties. The most significant update is the addition of a hybrid powertrain with Pro Power Onboard. It also has new frame reinforcements, updated tech features, and more safety technology than ever. Ford even added some new features aimed at helping you get work done while out on a job site. Take a look at what's new for the 2021 Ford F-150. more The Hybrid F-150 Along with the gas and diesel powertrains, the 2021 F-150 will also have a hybrid version. The hybrid system will use a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V-6 gas engine and a 35 KW electric motor. A 1.5 kWh lithium-ion battery sits under the rear seat, so it doesn't take up space in the cabin. This system will tow up to 12,000 pounds, and it's expected to get a 700-mile driving range. Ford will offer it with any of the trim levels. Pro Power Onboard The other big change for the F-150 is Pro Power Onboard. This is an inverter that serves as a generator. A 2.0 KW unit will come with the 2.7-liter, 3.5-liter, and 5.0-liter gas engines, with a 2.4-KW inverter for the hybrid.
